Modellbauuk
Do most users of these utilise single pack batteries or use split packs configured in series just in case one cell goes down and you then have to throw away the whole pack? What sizes gets used mostly. Looks to me like 6s 10000mah 35c packs are pretty popular. Quite expensive but if you use 2 x 3S 10000mah 35c in series you'd get away from the above single cell failure issue. Thoughts? Ian
Chris Jones 7
Biggest consideration is where your going to mount them. If you have a camera gimble hanging off it then if that is mounted centrally on the underside splitting the packs gives you opportunity to mount them symmetrically and maintain CG. If you balance the gimbal with batteries then you always have to fly with the gimbal and a camera.
scott cuppello
Running packs in series is never a good idea and packs are so cheap these days that most just dispose of a pack that has lost a cell.......especially as it's actually quite a rare thing.
