Geoff Parker
I have just bought 2 new sanwa servos and they are fitted with flat blue plugs with blue, black and red wires, now my old sanwa servos have black plugs with raised bars to ensure correct polarity with 2 black and one red wires. How do I rejoin the wiring if I cut off the blue plug and solder on one of the old type? Please, anyone know. I wrote to Ripmax with S A E and no reply after a weeks waiting..... Geoff Parker. Alistair Taylor
You've got old Sanwa stuff too huh :o)The old Sanwa gear has one servo wire with a white stripe. This is the positive wire. The negative wire is in the middle, the signal on the opposite side to the positive. On your new servos you will need to swap the position of the black wire and red wire round so that they are in the same order as on the old servos.I would recommend that you get some heat hrink tubing as well to make a neat job of it. And don't cut the wire too close to the plug in case you need to swap the servos back at some point.Bonne chanceAlistair T

Alistair Taylor
Irvine are the UK Sanwa Distributors - I've found them helpful and reasonable. They even repaired an old style receiver when I plugged a new style battery into it (Doh!).Oh - I just googled irvine - who aren't any more. They're part of ripmax.....Ho humGood luck mateAlistair
