John F
Landed on yellow grass? Seriously, PU foam is prone to yellowing due to exposure to sunlight. Eventually it'll turn brown, although that will take an awfully long time. I suspect that he stores his foamy somewhere where bright sunlight is playing a long term factor. It won't affect the strength of the foam, just looks unsightly. Edited By John F on 20/01/2016 12:34:

Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
It's actually me who has the problem, and the model is a new one this year, never flown and was stored in a room in the house with the curtains closed all the time, so not a brilliant advert for a very expensive model that is designed to fly outdoors. I have several foamies stored in the same room and none of the others have been effected, I suspect some coating on the foam has been applied and it is that that is turning. Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
It doesn't look too bad in the pics, but believe me it looks way worse in the flesh so to speak
John F
Yes, it looks like either a coating or UV that has caused teh discolouration. You might need to go to the place you bought it from and complain. Slightly academic, I know, but curtains will not necessarily protect anything in the room from UV damage. Some curtains you can get a tan through! Found that out whilst in Oman!
