Junior 60 Posted April 13, 2017 Share Posted April 13, 2017 I use lead shot which you can buy on the internet (no need to dismantle cartridges) which can either be put in a suitable container as ballast or it can be mixed with resin and cast in place. This is particularly suitable for gliders as it will mould itself snuggly into the nose. I usually go slightly underweight and make up the final weight to balance with lead flashing pieces.
