Hi Gary, Andrew

Thanks for the comments. Gary, there's nothing clever or complicated on getting a nice finish just a bit of practice and using well proven techniques and thinking twice before doing once, just like our RC stuff.

I used an Eduard Big Ed set on the F4U which were the PE wing fold detail comes from and I also built a full cockpit and second engine from the Eduard Brassin sets.

Followed with interest the discussion on Maple leaf colours, reminded me of the amount of conjecture and information regarding the correct colour of the zinc chromate primer on the F4U during phases of it's build with some explanation of colour changes due to nothing more than a particular production line running out stock. Fascinating stuff.

Please put some pictures on of the finished build Gary and I'm rather jealous of your stash Andrew, if you ever felt like creating some storage space I can help.

Here is Merlin I did a while back.
