stuart adams
As everywhere near me seems to be sold out of the multiplex fox, I decided to build my own... What do you reckon? Yeah its a little bit rough around the edges, will smooth it out a bit i expect. A Quick test in the garden shows it glides and is controlable. Will test it on some drops and hills soon! Chris Card
A good effort but a bit chubby to be a fox. With that figure and a few black patches added it could pass as a Multiplex Panda perhaps?
stuart adams
Yeah it is a bit chubby i admit, but like i said i will smooth it off soon enough. i've never seen a fox in real life, but friends have told me it looks more promising then those, so we shall see, fox combat here we come. Hopefully will perform well, if it is a bit sluggish, iwill shave a few grams off the sides, strengthen the ailerons, and rebalance. hopefully a nice northerly will blow through on the 22nd so we can fly the good slope, along with testing this little beast when the lift drops. stuart adams
Oh and anyway it not supposed to BE an fox, just RESEMBLE.... slightly..... a fox!! In size only, not figure!
stuart adams
Flew it this morning, was great, goes sky high with a little ridge lift. Very twitchy though, going to slighlty enlarge the stabiliser and add some small fins to the wing tips to stabilise it a bit more.
stuart adams
Well Ive added a bit of length to the elevator and some wing tip/fins at a about 45 deg. It is still pretty un-stable and the elvator does not seem to do much, Ive played about with the CoG but still cant get it to elevate! Any suggestions?
