It may be me - being thick as normal, but why do you want to poke holes all over a sheet of balsa? It is porous in the first place, and all you will do is damage the grain, thus weakening the material.
Not once it's had a good slathering of BalsaLoc (other heat sensitive adhesives are available!).

Hi Guys,

I am still looking to get this tool if it's the last thing I do, you know what's it's like when you have made your mind up you have to have one. The tool was used in a video (DVD) that I purchased off e-bay "PLANE COVERING TUTOR DVD". It showed 2 guy's covering a plane, wings, fuse, tail and rudder, being a bit of a covering novice this DVD has given me a first class lesson. The guy's were using MONOKOTE film and during the lesson the WOODPECKER TOOL was demonstrated, I am now sold on it, please somebody out there tell me where I can get one.
