Norman Martindale
Hi. I have just joined this forum and I am looking for some help. Some time ago, about ten years, RCM&E carried an article regardinf modifications to a Micron kit built receiver to make it useable for single channel with rubber driven escapements and 'galloping Ghost. Can anyone remember the year and month that the article was published or better still has anyone got a copy of the article.I have tried other forums but so far I have had no luckCheers Norman M. Norman Martindale
I have spoken to Micron. However the article was published before the current owner and Micron was not the author. I had hoped that someone might have an archive index of RCM&E. still hoping. Thanks for the effort Eric.Cheers.Norman M.

Chris Bott - Moderator
Hi and welcome to the forum Norman. I'll second the singlechannel website lots of useful info. Phil there and his mates are doing all sorts of interesting things. One being a pseudo single channel encoder that helps modify a push button transmitter so that it will operate a standard modern receiver and servos, which react just as if they are a single channel system. They are also resurrecting old reed systems etc etc. You'll find Phil's email address on the site and in my experience he's very helpful and keen to help anyone trying to do such as you describe.
