Allan Jordan Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi John, When you get your steel rule you will almost certainly discover that it slides all over the shop when laid on woode ... not to worry though as there is a very simple cure to hand... glue a strip of 80 grit wet /dry paper to one side of the rule and then it will behave itself !!! this is known to us " oldies " on the forum as " teaching it better manners " PS.
