Jon Hill
I rember this light weight low winger back in the '70's as a rudder elevator model with loads of dihederal which spoilt its otherwise rather pleasing lines and then fairly recently recall reading something about an aileron version being available ... but I can't tack it down. Can anyone assist with who supplies it? has anyone out there electrified it...if so what did you fit it out with?
Mike Rolls
JonBen Buckle has the plan for £11 (presumably plus p&p) advertised on E-Bay (he runs an E-bay shop, so it isn't a 'one-off'). Ben is a long time supplier of kits and plans - first rate bloke.Galahad is 54" span, suitable for 20 size engines. I'm sure that I've read in past of an electric conversion - at that size it should be fine with something like an AXI 2820/10, 10x7 prop and a 3s lipo in the 3400-4000 rangeHTHMike
John Dobson 2
I have aMercury Galahad built from the Ben Buckle kit supplied by Colin Buckle who now runs the company. The admirable Whittiker did ca write up on it in the Feb. 2005 issue of RCME.
