Philip Harrison
I am putting brushless motors in a twin engined plane, is it better to keep the cables short on the motor side or bat side, I have had people tell me the bat side and some the motor side. I thought the motor side is best,
Tim Mackey
Again, this one has been covered many many times...... Percieved wisdom is extend the MOTOR wires, but if absolutely impossible to do so, then you have no choice other than to extend the battery cabling - in which case use a good quality high-rated ESC. Many people have extended battery wires with no ill effect - yet.
Ron van Sommeren
Dutch Graupner/Robbe/Multiplex service has seen many toasted ESC's due to too long battery leads. All ESC manufacturers say the same, extend motor leads, not battery leads. Install extra input capacitors if you must extend battery leads.
