Thomas Pedersen 1 Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 Hi, When I first saw this "dog fight double" I wanted to build them both, but most of all the Lightning! After a closer look on the drawing I found something strange about the wing/F3 and put the drawing away untill I had figured it out. I have now found this site, (I have allready spend several hours reading a lot of interesting stuff!!) and from top to buttom I can to this forum, the perfect place to ask i think. Per the drawing, the wing will go right through the middle of F3, should I build the fuselage first then cut the slot or ???? SA Allan Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Hi Thomas What I did is cut the slot in F3 then glued it together again with a thin piece of balsa , after building the fuselage I broke away the balsa and slid the wing in .
