Nick Holmes 2
Hi, I have a Saito 125a recently run in, on inspection of the engine I noticed that there is quite a lot of sideways movement in the carb throttle housing, this i mean by if you hold the throttle arm there is a degree of sideways movement in and out of the carb housing. Before I panic is this normal movement? Many Thanks Nick
YakMad
Nick, The Saito 125a has no spring to apply tension to the throttle barrel, this is why you feel movement, there was alot of discussion on the different e-groups when this engine was first released about this but it does not appear to effect performance. MIne runs like a clock although like most Saito it took along time to run in fully and produce max power.
