Hello, This is only my second forum post - the first being the prize draw So Hi, to every one in model aircraft land !!  Like many who post here - I'm thinking of returning to the model aircraft fold after some 25 Years away.  It's all a bit daunting now.  Seems that the Radio's have become a lot more sophisticated and i.c. have been replaced in the main by electric. Has anyone any suggestions of a reasonable priced setup I could go for [Fixed wing trainer 4/6 Channel Radio, 0.4 i.c. [its funny that Thunder Tiger are now such big players in my day they were a poor man's relation] motor + 3 Sanwa radios [2x24MHz stac 4 and the other a Sanwa Black Custom 35MHz - Can you still use these - assuming they work], etc....].  I live in Somerset [and have approached Frome Model Aircraft club - I'm still waiting for a nice weekend !! - to visit].  Looking on there web site the flying site appears to be in a remote location so I guess i.c. is not out of the question.  But I guess fuel is now more than the £5 a gallon it used to be [we were shocked when It went to £6] Regards Paul

Hello, I remember these, A friend had a hurricane version - they were very underpowered - and a lot of money for what they were.  We [Me and my brother] stuck to designing and building combat C/L models - But we could never find anyone else to launch both aircraft so we were solo combat pilots !!
