Hi all after lots of discussion on rcgroups forum i think i am going with an oak wing joiner of 21mmx100mm tapering with the wing in between the spars general opinion that this will be well strong enough, plus have sourced them in 'tinternet for £7 the pair cut to my size. comments from this side of the pond would be welcome. Dave

Here are first pics of some of the parts been cut fwd fuz, fin, tailplane half already veneered in 1/16th balsa as i get a kit of parts made i will get a photo on a dry day (grounded....)

Phil sorry forgot to say. I bought this as it was cheap just to give it a go stil prefer nichrome as it is stronger. you have to be a bit softly softly catchy monkey with this stuff. dave
