  1. Thanks for reply Its not a question of holding on to them and buy another plane, I'm on a very tight budget lol and will need sell to buy another . I don't want to risk smashing these warbirds as they will be right offs with no real salvage potential lol. I'd rather have something sturdy with a glow engine and proper servos and reciever which can be reused should I destroy the plane. Thanks
  2. Thanks for reply  I suspected as much, I might just resell the planes as I recon I got a bargain when the planes retail at over 100 each and I got them both for 106  I can use the money to buy a more suitable trainer like you suggest  Thank.
  3. Greetings  As I have just got back into the modelling scene after a 20 year absence, I was going to buy a 40 trainer etc and was scanning ebay etc for a bargain. But today I saw something I couldn't resist, 2 Parkzone rtf's as new! .A P51 Mustang and a Focke Wulf 190, as I had been considering a  parkflyer and had my eye on the P51,I snapped both planes up for 106 pounds  The thing is have I made a mistake here? are these the correct type of planes I should have bought? Advice please
  4. Greetings My names Mark I'm 37 from Belfast but living in Bangor Northern Ireland. I've been  a model fan from about 5 years old starting with Airfix type then moving up from there. I mostly had Tamiya buggies like holiday buggy, hornet, hotshot 1 and 2,boomerang,grasshopper and a few others.I also acquired a nitro car that I refurbished but never got up and running its apparently a vintage model now the Gepard 3, I still have it somewhere gathering dust.  Then I got bought a rather expensive (to me) trainer plane having acquired an engine and transmitter etc over time. Got the plane built and on the first flight not having any experience smashed it into the ground, that was 20 years ago or so and the end of my modelling career........until NOW!  I'm starting out again and want some disription of nitro trainer and cheap budget equipment, I'm scanning the classifieds on the net and ebay waiting to grab a bargain as these things are very cheap as compared to 20 years ago lol. I've also had experience with building balsa gliders from kits which is good providing the instructions are adequate.  Anyhooooooooo hello all and see you around, by the way does anyone know of modelling clubs around Bangor Northern Ireland?
