  1. im am more than puzzled with lipo charging i have a graupner ultramat 16 charger which i use to charge my li-po cells but at no time can i get aproxamatly more than 1/2 charge into them namely a 2500ma cell will only register  about 1250ma before it stops charging as this is supposed to be an intelligent charger i find it puzzling to say the least or is it that you can not use all the charge in the cell because it cannot be fully discharged which means a 2500ma pack will only give out 1225 of usable power.
  2. has any one managed to remove the spring on the throttle of a silverlit transmitter with out damaging the case as even when you remove the 4 screws at the back of the case it does not seem to want to open are there some hidden catches?
  3. tryed to order from them but never got any where due to there system of payment namely nochex  not passing the payment on to them never did get it right gave up in the end
  4. the reason for this question is voltage does matter if you are using them to recharge as in silverlit models
  5. has any one noticed that rechargeables have a slightly shorter cap on the positive end and does not contact the end terminal on some transmitters
  6. yes i can replace with rechargeables but it still does not alter the fact that they are only 1.2 volt as against 1,5 volts it seems the only way around the problem is to increase the cell count
  7. the trouble with rechargeables is they only give 1.2 volts not 1.5 as required by many ready fly indoor models and unless you can add an extra battery into the circuit  they will not give you the required voltage hence the need to recharge dry cells
  8. i see that it is possible to charge non rechargeable cells with some chargers now being sold has any one any experience with these units charging alkaline cells?
  9. has any one had or flown a silverlit x plane the one with a digital camera option it is listed as being fully proportional  the one i have is the most peculiar system i have seen it looks as if it works by have the controls longer over in time one way to the other a system we used to call galloping ghost

  18. yes they are vary limited on range i managed to find on kyoshos site a range of  50 mt mentioned for all the 3 channel minium models. i also see that they have a 4 channel range due out in september with an updated radio i wonder if the range will be any better.
  19. does anyone know what the range is of the radio as fitted in the minum series of kyosho  planes i have heard that some people are having trouble in as little as 50 ft not much good if you want to fly outside on a calm day
  20. hi everyone not all of us wants to join a club to be able to fly .I started flying models just after the war when you had to build your own model and radio gear no going into a shop and buying it over the counter.I flew at a airfield called fairlop where i think the first r/c plane was flown by a man whos mame was David Mays ,it was a large glider with a rubber powerd escapment left ant right only.I have got back into flying just a few months ago and brought a park flyer .parkflyer what is a parkflyer every park or site I have been to I get the same answer you cannot fly here.I like many others do not wish to join a club so what do we do . ps now that model flying is now  officialy recognized sport have not park authority or countcils some obligation to provide somewhere for us to enjoy our sport?
  21. has any one managed to down load the pc interface that is available for this ultramat 16 charger if so how? ps i do not have the winzip program on my computer
