Hello,Andy, I have built and am flying a ziroli stuka for the last 8 years,and have fitted a mechanical electric motor diven siren that's quite effective in flight. The siren was an old house alarm unit of 3 inches diam.and about 3 inches long,driven by a 24 volt brushed motor. I replaced this with a motor from an electric screwdriver,and have powered it with 4.8volt nicads. To have the maximum sound outside the aircraft, I built the unit into the dummy bomb, made from polystyrene, with balsa fins. I hope that this will help you. regards,Brian.
