  1. Yep I had seen that too and wondered if it would be good for hot wire cutting a wing profile. What about contacting Peterborough and seeing if they will post it to you or your local store? Steve
  2. Yep that's the stuff Paul, well done for getting the last pack. In the Peterborough B&Q they have 2 large pallets of it. You should be able to build quite a bit from the 10 sheets. Steve
  3. Terry  It's Floormaster 6mm foam board underlay, it's light green in colour and made by Floormaster Unit E Albany Park Industrial Estate Frimley Road Camberley Surrey QU16 7QB Tel 01276 410200  If you go to B&Q the bar code number is 5 027086 169617 Good luck. Steve
  4. Hi guys  B&Q in Peterborough have stacks & stacks of the stuff £11 for 10 sheets I bought some before even reading this tread and it is good stuff. Slightly softer than my white depron I have but should be good for building and at that price it's a bargin. I shall be stocking up with another few packs when I'm next passing. Steve
  5. Worth another go for this little pup!! If only I could win something.
  6. Guy's  I took up subscription 2 months ago, after being a long time purchaser from the local shop, taking up the offer of the free gift. In this case it is the rotory tool kit which I was hoping would arrive with my first months subsrciption mag.  When it didn't turn up I contacted RCM&E to be told that the gift would be sent out at the end of the promo. Looking back at the online subscription page I advised them it sayes nothing of having to wait or indeed anything about delivery times and suggested that they put this on in future.  That aside I am still waiting for my tool kit and have beed in contact with Heather, who is very helpful. I'm glad, but not, if you know what I mean, to see that I'm not the only one having trouble. Anybody else waiting for the rotory tool kit?
  7. Yes it does, I'll think you'll fine that they are made to be distributed worldwide. The DX6i comes with two power settings too US and European. This makes it easy for the manufacturer to only have to make one model.
  8. Bruce  I have a GWS A10, it came with fan units and motors, however GWS sell the A10 as just the body painted and unpainted too, sounds like you got that kit.  Even though my kit came with the fan units and motors the motors were not brushless and there are a lot of reviews online about under power from can motors installed in this model. With this in mind I dumped the cans and went for brushless right away but kept the fan units. I have used Walkeran helecopter inrunners with a 60amp ESC on a 3cell 1500mah lipo and the performance is stunning. Loads of thrust and once up you can pull back on the power to save the lipo as she flies well at slow speed. I have just stripped out the 35mhz radio gear and gone over to 2.4gig so just waiting for a good weather day to fly. Steve
  9. Thanks Guys You've confirmed how I thought it should be, but you know when you start to question yourself you just want to run it by someone else. I'm about to finish a small trainer based on my own design and just waiting for the weather to fly it now.  Had the chance to purchase a Spektrum DX6i while in Canada and looking forward to using it. Steve
  10. I never win anything so I might aswell enter cause if I did win i'd be made up about getting this model!!!
  11. Hi I have been building models for years but never really flown, until now that is. Can someone point me in the right direction with control surfaces and the right way round for elevator. What I need to know is in which direction should the elevator be to climb and so on for decent? I know it may sound like a simple question but i've only built in the past and have now gained a passion to fly myself. All my models built were for others to fly.  Cheers for your answers. Steve
