John, Paul & myself have been cutting the strip twice this week. I am sure when you see the strip you will all agree that it's probably the best it has ever been.

Chris mentioned to me about a Swap meet, If people want to organise it that is perfectly all right by Greenacres. However please note. 1 We will not be able to man this due to organising the fly in. 2 The club will not take any responsibility for any damage or theft of anything that is on show. 3 The marque can be used, however if it's raining everything must be removed the marque is for people to shelter in. 4 Everything must be removed from marque at 6pm due to the possibility that there are meetings etc.

I would like to thank everybody that turn up to the fun fly, unfortunately the weather was against us. However I am sure everybody that came enjoyed themselves. The pilots that flew were very brave, and it was a pleasure seeing the planes battle against the weather. We have another fun fly on the 27th & 28th July everybody welcome, we might get some better weather. A big thank you to all Greenacres members that helped in preparing the show without there dedication & commitment it would be very difficult to do.

Hi Funnyflyer, Unfortunately you will be unable to fly at Greenacres, due to the area that the fun fly is held on. It's on Walsall Council property and our agreement is any person flying, must have at least BMFA A or equlivant. Reg Lewis Chairman GMAC.

I would personally like to thank all the people that have placed comments on this site so far. and also Thank all the Greenacres Members that helped setup, and ran the two day event, without these dedicated people we would be unable to run these Fun Flys.   I have only been a Greenacres member for the last 3 years so I am quite a youngster !!! However wasn't it fantastic to see a 50% split in Electric & I C. Who says that they must be seperated?? Electric & I C flew together. Hello Weasel            Camping at Aldridge Airport is only available on Friday & Saturday night, we need to vacate the Airport at the latest by 7pm Sunday Night.    Cheers  Reg 

I will be there, I live 5 minutes away from the flying strip. Club members will either be wearing Club shirts, hats or Yellow florescent vests. If you need anything just speak to a club member and we will try to help.   Thanks David for putting this thread on by knowing approx numbers this will help in planning what space we will need, also if anybody is considering camping  ie tent caravan etc could you also let us know.   On Friday & Saturday night we have a BBQ all are welcome, usually by the Clubs Marquee   Only 48 days to go.
