Quick note to the techs for this site since you have changed the format my pic has gone any reason why ??

Just been reading the latest edition of RCM&E and the article on the spit seems to have simular faults to mine ie the engine mount bolts are not long enough they finish flush with the inside !!,the screws for the horns are not long enough to put the plastic retainers on.The wheels are now fitted and now work well after a few problems of them comming down and then going back up and then half way down again!!.The engine is also now fitted (having got longer bolts) have also cut cowl to fit so now only have to cut a hole for needdle valve,and fit the tank and throttle linkage.Have fitted the decals on the fuss but they looked tatty due to the clear part of the vinal showig so have cut round all the letters and it looks a lot better.

Have now managed to fit the retracts into the wings what a lot of cutting and fiddling about that was!!.Now just have to connect them up and then fit my engine which with a friends help is all marked out and drilled ready for fitting.

update: have bought some mech ones having never fitted anything like this before this looks like it will be fun !! i will let you know how i fare,it might take me some time.

ok cheers i must admit i thought they were a little bit out of my budget but to be honest have not looked into the price for my model but i will now, have also looked at some mech ones but have not found any that fit yet!!

Thanks for that ive got an asp120 four stroke which is going to be good enough i hope trying to find some retracts that will fit the wings now any suggestions !!

Hi i am new to the site so go easy on me, just wanted to know if anyone has had or put together the c m pro spitfire 90 as i have just got one from santa!!!!! Ive only been flying for a year so dont worry i will not be flying it till i am happy with my flying and i can stop shaking every time i do fly.i can fly solo and am nearly ready to take the dreaded A
