I have just sold mine to a new club member who has it as his first model. I seem to remember the C of G was at the frint of the aileron covers.

Olly, I for one will be interested in you findings. What paint are you using?

Dunno Matt, TBH I've never painted over solar - anything before so I'm on a voyage of discovery. Tim will probally change his mind again so I'll wait before I devote time on research

U2 Update. The L.E.G U2 Ladydragon was maidened today and I got to say the I'm inpressed (so was Tim). The AUW was 2lb 5oz and apart from a click or two of trim it flew beautifly in the 35 mph wind! The responses were positive (not snappy) and the dive test proved a gentle climb out. The Stall ... what stall? with full up elevator slowly applied I could not induse a stall . The model will roll and loop(not that the u2 spy plane was required to do that) and it has a "presents" in the air. I was not a fan of LEG due to poor aftersales and poor building instructions but the finished model is a testement to LEG and I would recommend this model. There are sadly no pictures coz my camera on my phone is crap.

Ok Ken, no problem. I'm hoping he will take some shots of the Ladydragon tomorrow.

Me and Tim(bo) are going up the Orme on the Ski slope tomorrow so I might chuck it off if theres enough puff. The U2 weighs in at 2lb 5oz so it's not likely to be a floater! The forecast for the weekend at the moment looks good for the Ski slope aswell so, 51, pack some models and join us

Here is my U2 "Lady Dragon" which is 60" foam & CF tape covered in Solartex. Ureaka! I really don't know the cause of this problem but the cure was to copy a working models settings into the new models number. Just as an aside, I had at an eariler stage reset the New Model Number to the factory settings before I realised that it was the RX that was dickie. I now have some fine funing to do and everything should be ok. I have noticed that obe aileron servo isn't centering very acurately but it is a second hand model! Anyway Chaps, Thankyou for the help and interest. Regards Marty

Smoke break! lol Well I bound the new RX to the Akcent (my working plane) and all ia AOK! So, I re-bound The new RX to my TX under the new model the Garnet, .... Nothing I then decided to copy the settings from the Akcent to the Garnet in the TX and tried that with the Akcent. That worked Just plugged that Garnet into it's own RX (with the Akcent settings) ......... Knock at the Door! Grrrrrrr (My "Model room is in the attic!) ....... Bloody Jahovas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Smoke break and then I'll report back.

Update. I sent my RX off to the supplier and he returned it (back in my hands in tree days!), The same problem still exists ! I will spend some time to day doing the tests all over again! This is doing my head in!

Coat £25 but that was for 2 models posted together (I had ordered another model for someone else at the same time). I think from what I have read on different forums that it's an (Un)-lucky dip if you get picked on by the customs.

I bought a U2 from LEG in the States. Not impressed 100% with the service and all the models they do are only "stand off" scale and their Spitfire looks definatelly stubby! But if you are looking for a foam semi scale model that will bounce, might be worth a punt

I think it went quiet when you south wales lot started using it as a dating agency .... well that's what it sounded like! lol We have a Pssa meet up the Orme this weekend (TBC) so look out for that thread.

If you mean Flaperons then yes i have checked that. The copying business idea is as follows: The problem is that with a brand new rx in a second hand model one aileron wont work. so, I thought, if I copied all the settings from a working model into the tx under the new model "folder" and tried that model and the new rx in the existing good model it would prove if the ailerons were working .... which they wern't! I then connected the proven old rx from the working model to the "new" model and all the control surfaces worked, albeit not with the correct throws but that proved all the servos were working. I have now completed my last test which was to bind the new rx to the existing good model on the TX and hey presto, only one aileron worked so I think that is pretty conclusive that one of the ports isn't working. I took out one of the servo leads and did some swap tests which proved the AUX 1 port isn't working. I can't think of anything else it can be. any ideas before I send the rx back to the supplier?
