  1. i have the sc 52 in my flair baronette no problem pulling this 6lb model around
  2. i think garny is looking at an os 46ax abl which is not been out long, abl stands for advanced bimetallic liner specks and reviews can be found on os web site, seems to be the next step up from abc
  3. the ax has a ball bearing supported crankshaft and gives 1.65 bhp at 16k rpm for review and manual go to tower hobbies web site
  4. can be done but has to be internal which i think will invaladate insurance in the uk and states check out www.rclabujia.com or google f7cp
  5. got my switches from tower hobbies in the states straight to my door
  6. thanks steve it all pointed to the plug but having tried 2 new ones with no result it became abit of a head banger got there in the end though with help from the members .
  7. your right flanker they do take 10 mins to set up and float forever mine flys on less than half thottle with the asp 70. my baronette goes together in a couple of mins only having two bolts in bottom struts, for drive and fly i take a parkzone t28 great plane for a foamey fit batt and go 20 min flights no problem with 2200 li po. baronette flys in most winds but becomes a brick when dead stick having a 52fs up front had to put weight in tail looks great in the air though.
  8. hi guys found the problem both my new os/f plugs faulty i stuck a os 8 in from my 40 2stroke and it works a dream engine has been on test stand and is now ready to go back in my pupertter many thanks to all who gave help with this problem, you would not think two plugs could be duff can't get refund because had them in stock to long .
  9. okay ken get one next time i go to town. going to nick the plug out my sc52fs which is running ok and try that  tomorrow
  10. changed the carb because i thouht the spray bar might be enlongated stopping the needle seating
  11. i wish i knew steve as said earlier cam timing is spot on with dot level with push rod tubes as in my 70 magnum manual. its had a good life having after run oil and a good clean after every flying session nobody as fiddled with it. while its got power on the plug ticks over fine picks up ok just dies when power is removed going to try flankers tip and go for another plug more expence and not use my power panel.
  12. the plug is new and yes the problem did start suddenly, i thouht it was fuel so i got the carb from just engines hoping it was the problem, flanker as a point about over driving the plug, i wonder if my power panel as gone west will try a new plug useing my glow stick and see what happens. saying that it starts my sc 52fs in my baronette ok and that runs like a dream. anybody got more ideas i can try
  13. the engine is upright in my pupertter it is about 1 year old has good compresion fuel is 5% nitro.  cuts out at any speed but runs fine with glow on even ticks over ok, i have just checked the timing and the mark is in line with push rod tubes, sorry for time delay in replying but have to leave computer to work inbetween posts.
