Thanks for replying David and Bob I agree completely with you about Enya engines didn't even need to replace the piston ring just new bearings. It looks as though I'll have to look for a better silencer especially if the P&R reduces the power. Gav

I have aquired an Enya 60 mk3 from a club mate it came with a P&R silencer has anyone any experiance of these.I intend to fit it in a similar era plane probably a Kingpin. If any one has an original silencer & bracket to sell it would make it even better. Gav

Yes Gurth I agree British manufactures should get our support in all things not only our hobby. Pegasus Models deserve a mention here I ordered my Phasar at 2.30 Tues it arrived at my door 1.00 the next day and that was by road not drone. Only had chance to look in the box and what I've seen is very good well made wings and other foam parts laser cutting is crisp and not over heated all parts numbered with a 37 page guide with photos and a half size plan Tony now I have the kit the dry weight is given as 5.5Kg all up so with a 1.20 we should be ok if I can resist adding bits Gav

If I may use this post to ask about a full size flying meet in Majorca it's the Pollensa Splash a sea plane meet, we were there in 2015 and went to it, held at the military base and it's free entry. Does any one know if it will be held in 2017 I was told it is a biannual event but i cannot find any info for next year Thanks Gav

Hello all I have a model that gives the c of g position as measured at the wing tip if I translate this measurment to the fusalage and balanced it there will get the same results as if it was balanced at the tips, the wing is tapered Gav
