The BDMAC Summer Rally has been held for many years in aid of raising funds for
Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley and, with your generosity, has been
able to make considerable donations to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
This is a 100% donation-funded hospice for terminally ill children and is a very,
very worthy cause. For you guys with children, just think how lucky you are...
If you would just like to make a donation, of any size, direct to Derian House,
follow the link and you can donate directly to the Hospice online.

  2. Cheers Ross! Taking A next week hopefully if the weather is ok, going to spend tomorrow practicing only got a half gallon of fuel left though (went through half a gallon last Sunday).

    Wish me luck!
  3. The 10t is just awful! and the DX8 looks like a DX6i, which i do think is ugly compared to my Beautiful Aurora 9, But i do have quite a lot of Spektrum gear now so hoping for a Spektrum module for my A9 but will never stop using my DX6i as it was my first Tx and holds a special place in my heart haha.
  4. Im so excited still from Sunday! I met up with Andy my instructor at the field and he said lets get some approaches done, so i was flying circuits and setting up the approach, after about the 4th approach i felt comfortable and he said lets go for a landing, i floted the Thunder Tiger ready in beautifully for a 3 pointer! I was so so happy its unreal.

No sooner as i had landed he said get fueld up we are going for a take off now! after a few ground runs we went for it and climbed away beautifully, then into the circuit for about 9 mins and called landing! Again another lovely landing (so Andy said) with no dramas, im still smiling to myself now and thinking i cant wait for this weekend!!

Hi, al I just went HIteck and read all about it, very nice, only they say mode 1 or 2 ??
    Barry

You can change what you want each stick to do so can be any mode at all and the sticks can have any function you want also!

  6. The touchscreen is just a dream to use and makes everythign so easy to setup, I struggled to setup some things on my DX6i like Tailevators on the right stick but this makes it so so easy to do!

Your hands are no where near the screen whilst holding the Tx, its also inset by about 8mm or so so no chance at all of touching it.

So far i cannot find a single thing i dont like about this system at all!
  7. Not seen it yet! I will be going Saturday night hopefully

On a side note i can highly recommend Sherlock Homes, me and the wife went to see that the Sunday after Christmas and its so entertaining id watch it again.
