Clear skies -
I tried to fly it again today. Still no luck. Flew ok from the launch eased the power on pushed the nose down so eased back a little but lost air speed and it started to drop, put some more power back on and it just dived into the ground. I have tried all sorts of configurations such as balance and prop angle, nothing worked. Ive given up ish, I have considered putting a ducted fan into the under side of the creachers belly and reshaping the head.

Sorry its been so long since I have posted. I have now tried four times to fly it before spending the time to paint it. The first to nose heavy, second to tail heavy, thrid and fourth had to throw myself with the left hand. I think it would have gone but very weak throw and crashed breaking the neck. The high thrust line makes it very difficult to launch and get some speed up. Will try again later in the week.

Tried with the maiden today, never went to well. After about thirty yards nose dived into the ground. Not much damage, just one elivon horn broke off. A combination of a high thrust line (pushing the nose down) and although the CG was ok to the plan (Id added some weight to the nose) I think it needs to be further back to counter act the thrust line. Anyone any Ideas Going to try again tomorrow or Sunday. Glenn

Mine is finished other than painting and I think I will change the servos. I fitted st-5's but going to change to st-9's. What weight has yours come out at Terry. Mine all in with a 3 cell 950 lipo, receiver etc is 390g, not sure how much the paint will add. Glenn

Looking good Terry. You are well infront of me. Im going to see if mine flys before I spend hours painting. Ive put another couple of photos in my album for anyone to view. What size prop did you put on, I was thinking of something like a 7x6, would have liked an 8 but its just to big. Kind regards, Glenn

Never got time today to work on. Spent all morning flying then had to take the mrs out. Hoping to finish some time in the week. Going to finish, test fly then paint (if it flys ok). regards, Glenn

Hi terence, I am half way through building mine. I also had the idea of elevons and not bother with the rudder. If you do try it before I get time to finish mine can you let me know how it goes. I will post as soon as I try it.
