    Yes but suspended ?

Would it be possible to copy - enlarge - print ? Would at least give a dimensional working plan, sort of?

Yes, I did try Outerzone Dennis but, as Ace says….

  2. I built one of these years ago and would like to have another. So it’s a bit of a long shot but would anyone have a plan they can lend for me to copy? I’ll pay postage etc. of course.

Your KK Cadet looks beautiful David.  Isn't it strange how after the years of R/C one gets drawn back to the purity of free flight towline glider?

Thanks Robin. Yes indeed. We have a club indoor session every month and, increasingly, I enjoy the rubber FF far more than steering an R/C ultra micro round in circles.

As for the flyaway, I guess it depends how high you tow 'em? I was aiming to stand still and use a winder to haul it up to 20-30ft, no more. Just as these chaps do at 6.52 in this vid'. What could go wrong? ? (it's a great video by the way, well worth a viewing.)

  4. Not really Martyn. We're not here to (effectively) re-write posts and if the poster feels strongly enough then he's welcome to re-post.

Rather than take a thread off-topic please PM me if you're concerned.

I'll lock this one up as it was just about contacting KLM. Please start a new thread if you want to talk about postage/delivery issues per se.

Well I think this topic has run now its course! It would be a shame if the thread ends up falling into the old elephant trap of  "castor vs synthetic". I have made my decision and just need to get on with running the engine. Thanks for your all thoughts and ideas. I will report back once the engine has been run a bit.

Agreed David. Time to close this thread.

  6. I've failed Roy. Finally got the plan from the chap who promised it was the Super 100. Turned out to be the Super Simpleton 96". It seems pretty near identical as far as I can remember, apart from the slightly reduced span. The good news is that it has the instruction sheet.

I'm going to get the plan copied, the instructions too, then I'll have pdf copies for anyone who wants one.

  7. I think the OP has made his point now so we'll lock this one up.

Speaking personally I'm sure that the situation he describes is probably just an unfortunate event, annoying though it is, and certainly not an intentional trading policy.

I've tweaked the thread title to reflect the discussion's general nature.
