  1. Hiya People.   I have just got my new Flycam Eco this weekend, and I notice there is a USB Plug on the PCB on it.........Any ideas where I can download the software for it or is it built into the PBC?   I have had a look on the Flycam site, but there is no software under the download page!   Thanks for your help,   Andy Ferriby
  2. Hiya People.   just a quick question for you all....   I have a Zenoah 26cc Petrol Engine in my 1/4 scale Piper Cub, but whats the best battery for the ignition?   I was told to have a look at Overlander for a bettery.... but thats just confusing, as I aint a clue what type to get!   I have had it running (not flying) using a RX battery pack..... but surely this aint the best type!   Any ideas whats the best type to get?   Thanks,   Andy Ferriby
  3. Hey up People,   I have just seen the Video on the Hanger 9 Sopwith Camel and they have the Sound Module from Model Solutions of Canada.   Are there any UK Stockists of it by any chance?   Thanks,   Andy FerribyEdited By Timbo - Administrator on 20/11/2009 11:34:31
  4. Hiya David,   Thanks for the reply.   The engine I have in mind is a J'EN .57 2 Stroke (they say it thinks its a .60 size)!!!   And for the Stinson Reliant, Im thinking of the ASP 1.20 FS or the J'EN 1.60 (26cc) Petrol engine.   Whats your thoughts on them?   Just a note, Just Engines is ....... Just up the road from me.... What a nice bunch they are.... Highly reccomended...... I'll do a review for you David.... If you want?     Thanks again,     Andy Ferriby
  5. No then.... Its for the Stinson Reliant (jamara) - not received it yet... and Also for my Gilmore Racer (not received yet too)   Stinson will be getting a .91 engine and 15x6 wooden prop and the Gilmore will be having a .46 wit a 11x6 wooded prop   I use a electric starter so need a prop spinner fitted to them both!     Thanks again mate     Andy
  6. Hey up people.   What size prop spinner would I need to get to fit an 11x 6 wood prop and a 15 x 6 wooden prop?   I cant find any info for this any where!     Thanks,   Andy Ferriby
  7. Hiya People.   I have just fitted my new Zenoah 20cc engine to my Piper Cub, following all instructions.   The problem is........   When I turn the prop.... its not pulling the fuel through the fuel lines!   There are no blockages at all in the pipes..... I cant even blow air into the carb with the throttle open!   I have took the throttle to bits, and there is a mesh inside the throttle.....   Once this is removed the engine will pull the fuel thorugh the pipes!!!!!!   But its obvious that the mesh is there for a reason!!!!   Do any of you have or had the same problem?   Thanks,   (PS - Its from Ajay Models)   Andy Ferriby
  8. Hiya People! Just a quick question, Whats the best thing to use to cut a fibre glass cowl so I can get my exhaust to fit? I want it to be a good job, so don't want to make a hash of it! Any ideas fellow builders? Thanks again, Andy Ferriby
  9. Hey up people.   I have just purchased a new Spektrum DX5e Tranny and AR500 receiver.   The only problem i have is that to bind the receiver to the tranny is to have the power plugged into another port on the reciever (not the power port) as thats where I have the BIND plugged into.   but the problem i now have is that once its binded to the tranny, and removed the bind plug from the batter plug, on the receiver, do i just remove the battery plug from the spare port (currently using the spare aielon plug) then reconnect to the normal battery plug?   I also have a normal power switch on my plane, but its only got 1 charge port so i cant plug the bind plug into that, as there is only female plug (which is plugged into my battery) if you get me!!!   Also do i only have to bind it once, or will this have to be done each time i take my plane out flying?   Thanks Edited By Andrew Ferriby on 24/05/2009 16:34:43
  10. Hiya People.   I have just purchased my new CMPro Piper J Cub (1inch) and a Zenoah 20cc petrol engine for it (recommended by CMPro)....   but what size Prop would you recommend?   Thanks,   A Ferriby Edited By Andrew Ferriby on 23/05/2009 17:24:00
  11. Hiya People.   Do any of you know where i can get hold of a boeing 747 for EDF?   Or where i can get plans to build one?     Thanks,   Andy
  12. Hiya People.   i have just received my CMPro Katana 40 (ARF) today... Got most of her built, but im having hugh problems fitting the engine mounts to the firewall!   The bloody bolts that came with the kit have them bloody blind nuts that go behind the firewall....... god if only it were that easy! - And the instruction manual says it is!!!   The problem is i cannt get my hand or anything behind the firewall..... apart from a baby's hand!   Have any of you built one? ir do you know any other ways of bolting the engine mount on to it? The only way i can see is to fit some self tappers into the firewall! - I know its not a good idea, but how else can this be done using them bloody blind nuts!!!!     surely there is a better way to fit it!     Hope someone can help,   Kindest Regards,   Andy
