  1. Gordon, send your Tx back to horizon along with the Rx. They will update the firmware on both free of charge and not charge postage back. They had issues with AR500's losing bind and they solved this with the update. I sent all mine back as i had 9 at the time and got them all back in 3 days, two of them having been replaced with new ones. Horizon are great with customer support. go to the website first and give them a call they are real nice people and will help you as much as they can. It is worth it not losing a model or hurting someone with an out of control one.
  2. We only have one true R/C shop that i know of in my town so it has no competition. They charge over inflated prices for goods i can get online from other uk based stores for cheaper. They (being the owners) are predominently car enthusiasts and race themselves so much of the shop is dedicated to that side of the hobby. They are always willing to get parts in if they can if they dont stock them but again they are at exagerated prices. They recently took delivery of a couple of eflite ARTF's which were shelved at £45 above the price i paid for the same plane delivered from Sussex MC.   3. Mine hasn't come through yet why oh why oh why!! I normally get it posted before it comes out in the shops. Looks like a good issue (not that the other years of issues i have are not good you understand ) shut up David your rambling.
  4. first forray into aero   what a fantastic venue to fly. and it came back in one piece.
