  1. Finished the top and bottom sheeting: I needed to add some strips to the top sheeting in order to sand the curve profile on the top. More later...
  2. Bit more done. Fitted the top spine - managed with cyano and a bit of brute force. sanded to the profile of the formers. Added the rear top sheeting. I used cyano on bottom edge then, when secure, I put PVA on the formers and cyno on the top edge. To fit the front top sheet, I needed to wet the outer surface to get it to bend. More later...
  3. Jobs for today... I decided to use snakes instead of the supplied bowden cables. I should have drilled out the holes in the formers before I glued them in (they needed enlarging), it would have been less of a fiddle. Got there in the end. Roughed up the outer cable and epoxied in place. Fitted ply strips to attach servos to. More later...
  4. "Is it straight? So then I went to my Brian Taylor MKIX plan, and the Cambrian plan is absolutely right, it does curve. And some CA and slight bend later..." Hi CS. Did you find that you needed to soak or steam this to get the bend - or just brute force and CA? Edited By Geoff Gardiner on 28/07/2014 10:54:55
  5. Today's job - glue in the formers using my new jig (makes things a lot easier). More later...
