  1. hi guys i have been handed this engine to find out if there is a problem with it.it seems to be very low on compression, i have had the guts out of it and it seems to have had a new liner and piston and a new ring fitted. the only thing i can see that may be caurseing a problem is the ring may be getting pinched by the ring grove in the piston which is not letting the ring expand to fit the liner bore would i be right in my thoughts???or could it be the liner collar that has been machined to long there by increaseing the conbustion chamber and there by lowering the compression i am totally stumped by this 1 can any 1 help please
  2. hy guys i'm hoping that some1 out there can help me with photos or any thing else to do with thjs model as it was my first trainer it has a wire fus and a 35 engine it also had a massive 72'' foam cored wing it was a 3 channel model with very slow flight ideal for a trainer

  4. hi todd thanks for the post but its the other way round its the root to midway l/e that has the +2 degree (would that be called wash in as i am just a scale virgin) and mid to tip that goes back to 0 degree but its definatly the l/e and not the t/e that has a +2 degree this is my first ever scale plan build just not used to building a wing with a perposely building a wing with a warp in it for all intents and perposeEdited By andy askwith 1 on 17/01/2010 23:18:06
  5. hi guys i am building a second plsne from planes its hobbystore westland lysander i am about to start on the wings were i have hit a snag its says on the plans to build it with 2degree of incidence from the root  to mid way point on the wing were it goes back to 0 degree at the tip could any 1 help me with some methodes of how to construct this please i would much appreciate this thanks guys in advance
  6. hi guys i am in need of help with a build that i have started it is the duncan hutson 70'' westland lysander and i am looking for any 1 that has any construction notes on this plan that they wouldbe willing to scan and email copies the dates i am looking for are rcmw august -otober 1988 and jan 1989 i would be very gratfull for any help with this thank you in advance also if any 1 has build this plane and has any tips for the building of the main wing that would be a life saver too )))
