    Thanks for everyone's concern,but now back in saddle.Requested the wind turned off since last Wednesday, but now ready for action. No big climbs for a week th'o.Tim, comming to the Orme for a few days first week of july ,hope to get some flying in and hopefully meet some of the lads.

    Yo Richie, i built a 62 inch Hammerhead out of the box with an Irvine 72 engine about 6 months ago for a friend. It still has'nt been flown .The cowl in the kit did'nt fit , and had to altered, and i was told by someone who had flown one that the u/c mount just pulled straight out of the foam wing in anything but a perfect landing.I altered this and fitted u/c block under first too fus formers ( same as acro wot )Can now pull as hard as you want on u/c legs, no problem. Will post pic's shortly.

    As Ken has not been out with us since October he has tried today to change our name to the Hill Top Posse Ramblers .He deceided to land not only at the bottom of the hill ,but also one field out!! He was away " rambling " for about an hour.! Will have gone straight to bed when he got home.

    All change weather wise in gods county today!!! 2 flights with "HEAVY" Bluto in 4 degrees and wind meter showing 79mph !! Added more ballast but then rain stopped play.

    Hill Top Posse out all afternoon on Northumberland hillside on Xmas eve.Temp sub -tropical for us at 12 degrees!! Sunshine,no glovesand loads of wind.We will be sloping again Wed or Thursday when i rally the gang.

    MPX Acromaster ,good 3D foamie ,had mine a year now. Bit expensive but got mine s/hand for £100 ready to fly.

    Pike repaired and flown,feels no different than before !! Out today with 3 1/2lb Bluto trying to DS behind a tree line but not much success (wind 50 and not many leaves on trees to create a wall ). In the end surrendered to the rain !!!!Edited By enrico on 18/10/2011 20:06:57
