Question ? Why do do BMFA rules/guide lines state that  your Tx should be left behind the flight line when retreaving your model. Reason for question we have some heli pilots that are on 2.4ghz and think it should not apply to them as they do not trust any body with their Tx and will not put it on ground

 Can you explain what you hace written  If it is a pure accident there is no reason for the insurance company to pay out as you are not liable for any damages.  

Does the club not have any responsability? i.e letting people fly with little or no experience. They seem to have this attitude of people do not need  a (A) certificate .most of them in the club already have a or b certificates

Picture this. I join a Flying club with no experience of flying before and take out the BMFA insurance have say 4/5  hours with the club trainer. Then go on my own to the club field to fly and crash my plane and do damage to some person/property. The club has no policy that i have to be with some one, or that i get to (A) std before going on my own. would the insurance cover these losses.How many clubs let people fly on their own without having The BMFA (A) certificate?

Looking to buy my first lipo batts and charger. The batts will be 5C Loong max 2300 2S1P 20C-30C Lipo Battery The charger could be aGT Power V5 balance Charger Li-po NI-MH Battery. the info for the the charger says it requires 12v  5amp input. Question is will the charger be damaged if i use a mains 230v to 12v 20amp power converter as i have one of these to hand. I got this from old PC and have 3.3/5/and 12 volt coming out of it.

Hi all Have on old os 60 sr that requires a new piston ring, The  engine has a bore size of 24mm, and the ring has a locating grove at the rear. Looked at the discontinued engines on the os site and this engine is not listed. On reading a thread on an other site on other side of the pond the .61 sf only has a bore of 22mm. The other size 60 engines on the os site  have a piston rings with no grove. Does anybody know  where i could get one from or has one ?
