I recessed the aileron but nut the wing hence leaving a small airgap They all sheared at the aileron

All hinges were put in straight and free to move. The Great Planes ARTF was a superb build and very high quality. The hinges I now have in are 1mm mylar sheet rougened and epoxied in place with double pinning. The engine is a Super Tigre 3000 glow which runs very smoothly At the club the thinking is reasonance set up by upward propwash although no reasonance can be heard during flight.

Hi, Anyone got any iseas on why this is happening? All surfaces on this 30cc model were hinged with supplied Great Mlanes CA fuzzy hinges. After maiden flight on retrieval it was seen that 3 out of the 4 LH wing hinges had sheared through at hinge Line All hinges were replaces in Left anf righr Ailerons with Kavan pinned hinges - on retrieval after second flight 3 out of 4 hinges had sherated through again. I am in the process of replacing with good old fasioned mylar strip , glued and pinned. My concern is not having fixed the cause these will shear too. Eddie

hi, does anyone out there have a data sheet for an Astro 25 ungeared aero motor. I need to know the max operating wattage I can run at to balance prop against battery. astro do not seem to market this product anymore and the only data sheet I have tracked down is for a marine version. Thanks Eddie
