The Hemel Hempstead Model Flying Club has 2 flying sites 1 close to Aylesbury,Bucks and 1  close to London Colney (St Albans). both sites have good mown surfaces and are in open country. If you are new to the hobby then this is the Club which would help you enjoy the thrill of model flying. We are not affiliated to any other association as we believe in the freedom of choice, something which is fast being eroded in today's modern society. Over the years we have trained many novices to the hobby into good safe pilots in a very friendly manner. Our training is performed on a 'buddy box system' by members/instructors that have many years experience in building, model setting up and flying. We are first and foremost a Fixed Wing Club (Planes) as we do not have instructors for helicopters.   Please Check out our club website www.hhmfc.co.uk for further information new members always welcome.
