  1. Posted by onetenor on 25/01/2019 00:41:37: Water and heat also works on wooden baseball bats. Damp cloth a hot poker in my case. Hot water (near boiling) also works well on foamies, really good at straightening a bent nose after an unexpected arrival.
  2. Thanks for the replies. The advice given from both confirm the same, yes, the plane would have been very tail heavy the way it was set up. Attending the Loch Earn splash-in next weekend, now I hopefully wont have any disasters. Cheers for your help Ian
  3. Hi, I know this is an old post however does anyone know where the GOG is on the cmpro Cessna 182 skylane ??
  4. Flying site 10 miles (old airfield) takes 10 to 15 Mins. Slope site 6 miles by car, then a 1/2 mile climb up the hill (good exercise, a rucksack job !!!). Also a couple of lochs 4 or 8 miles. All great fun depending on wind /weather. Happy arrivals.
  5. Finally got a chance to maiden my Vixen today. Wow, it really flys well, so much faster than the Vampire but still a joy to fly, perhaps not ideal for 1st time EDF but to others, great fun. Rolls and big loops are very scale like, also does a great fast pass at under 3 feet. I think I will now put on all the drop tanks etc, this will most likely slow her up a bit , also need to slow down the servos for the undercart as they are a bit fast for scale. All in all well worth every penny, well done Durafly, another great plane. Ian
  6. Hi Goose 10, Please ignore my last post. I have now had a look inside my Vixen. The lead from the UBEC goes to the throttle, the lead from the ESC goes onto a spare outlet ( I am using an Orange RX and I have the lead on channel No 1 ,( the binding socket) ). Hope that helps. Ian
  7. Hi, Goose 10 You may have already done this but have you pluged in the ESC into the throttle position in the RX. Ian
  8. OH YES!!!!! I got one for Xmas, have finished building. However there still has not been weather to fly it yet. Hope it flys as well as my Vampire does
