    FOR SALE

    I Have this Marine Webra 61 engine for sale complete with exhaust (strap on syle) . I am unsure as to its value, but it turns over smoothly with good compression although i am certainly no expert!!! ..... merely a beginner who bought this at a car boot sale.... but i need the cash to get a new transmitter for my new model..any sensible offers considered call 07970537554. @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);
  3. @import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css); I have a brand new Blackhorse Renegade with a Irvine 53 and i have asked all my local clubs to come along and join up, but none of them seem to take new members.... I have a flying lesson in a cesna this summer and was hoping to get my model up before i do!! Any help would be highly apreciated... cheers.
  4. Just recieved my new Irvine 53 engine i purchased from Galaxy models.. ( great service by the way..)  However when i come to test fit the motor to my Black horse Renegade it didnt slide on the blue nylon  mount like i was expecting and after measuring the mount inside gap on the plane it was 33mm and a rough measure of the distance of the crank between the mounting lugs is around 36mm so i have a 3mm intolerance.. so do I just buy a new mount or shall i attempt to file this one to fit?........
  5. Just wondered if anyone can tell me if i buy a IRVINE 53 for around £60 - 70 does this include the standard silencer / pipe?

    WEBRA 61

    Hey Alan, It is the rear induction model. It is all turning over very smoothly and the piston seems to be in good nick ( from what i can see through the exhaust outlet)...(although a little stained in a patch were it has been stood). I also have a "strap-on" type pipe/silencer for it aswell. As far as i can see .... maybe a bit of a service, new piston rings etc and she'd be sweet. Let me know your email and ill post some pics to you, if you like... I tried to upload some pics of the motor to my profile thingy on here but .... computer said no.

    WEBRA 61

    Hi was wondering if anyone can help? I was going through my attic last night and found a box of old rc bits i bought at a carboot years ago... in the box was a WEBRA 61 marine engine all intact i think, there is hardly any marks on the casing and is quite shiny for its age, i think it could do with a bit of tlc / slightly freeing up.. there is also a silencer / exhaust pipe for it as well, the brass start gear is all shiny and there are no signs of corrosion on the whole unit. However i recieved a 62" blackhorse renegade for xmas and need a Irvine 53 or simular to power my new pride n joy.. Does anyone know how much this Webra unit would be worth and anyone one who might want to purchase / exchange it for one that fits my plane?.... Cant wait to get my new plane in the air and need to sell this to raise some funds... Any help is greatly appreciated.
  9. Also can anyone recomend a model store in the uk who will offer competitive prices in return for loyal custom.....as need to buy new radio, starter gear, stand, fuell, etc etc. Thanks for all your help. The start of business tomorrow i am going to be purchasing all these parts so all your info is very   much apreciated!!!, thanks again.
  10. I am so hooked and i havent even flown it yet... i am planning to build a spitfire from plans already .....as am or was a joiner by trade.... cant wait!!   If i were to opt for a entry level radio that will take a bit of progression what would be your choice as my money is burning a big hole in my pocket and cant wait to go fly!!   Would the DX6I be a good choice? .... as have read good things about this...
  11. if i was to go for a new entry level 6ch radio which would you advise?? Ps: thanks v much for your help..
