hi james , i build these projects not as scale , but just to try n get to fly , and most of all , enjoy . as with my first tandems , they have a tendancy to pitch down at the back when coming out of a quick circuit , and as no doubt i`ll find some different flying habits of this one too , which is what i like to do , i also try not to cut any parts up as i may go on to try something else later on . thanks for trying different parameters today , once my cyclocs arrive , i`ll get fiddling and post my findings . i`m looking forward just to hovering this one , as to me its different , thanks ady

hello there , the masts on the real one are at an angle , but i build my toys to fly , don`t actually do scale , but i will admit to this now being on hold cos i`ve built several tandems in the past , this one being the best , the other night i put together a k-max out of two rex pros i had laying about , will start a new thread on that one

hello there , thanks for your kind words , the c of g is slighlty forward of the centre , lots of quess work there , yaw is controlled by each swash tilting in the opposite direction , ady

hi , the motor is an align 600mx 510kv , hobbyking cont and two 6s 3000 turnigy packs , she`ll fly for 10 min and uses 1400ma outta the packs

the front auto gear turns the rear auto gear , this is the big white gear at the back , that in turn , rotates the head
-
yep , its two t-rex 550s bolted together , using a 12s set-up , the back is fed by torque tube , the blades are 90 degrees apart , so should not hit unless i crash it . csm 720 gyros help keep it stable-ish and a helitronix mixer allows my to control both swashplates

hello all , long time no speak , i`ve got myself a pretty little seagull edge 540 58" span with a 91 fs in the front that flys a dream . yet i want a bigger one , i see that seagull do a 77" span job for 180fs , but would prefer not to go over 120fs as my car is small . i`ve looked at lots of kits , but what would all you out there recommend around the 63" span mark , i have £200 for the kit , either the edge or the extra 260 , what do ya recon , cheers ady
