Hi Steve, Bought the vinyl logos from Callie Graphics. They were meant for a Freewing BAE Hawk, but I just liked the look, so cut my own yellow and blue and adapted most of the vinyl logo's to fit

I can't take credit for the paper panel technique on my Zero Martin. I think I first tried it years ago after seeing an article by the late great Brian Taylor. Loved all his warbirds. I remember drooling over his BF109E in Radio Modeller magazine in the 70s

Yes that's my Zero ?Thanks for the kind comments. Just need to fly it more. Yesterday was the first time for a year !

Flew my Focke Wulf, Spitfire, Zero and Neiuport Bebe on Sunday. Met some friendly new faces. Very impressed with the organisation and the flight line officials. Great day despite the weather trying to ruin it in the morning

Yes i remember that Stampe flying at the West Malling show in the nineties. It was build very lightly and the pilot ( Belgium i think) flew it very well, almost 3 D !. I flew a modified D B 1/3 scale Neiuport 24 bis at the same show

Thanks John, I know they postponed last years show till later in the year. Would they really have two shows in one year ? I'm not complaining ?

Hi David, sorry to seem a bit slow on the uptake, but has the Weston Park show now been moved to Sept ?

In my experience of using silicon tubing in exhaust systems, unless maybe its very remote, and in a straight line, it is a dead loss and will always require replacing regularly.
If its curved or at a right angle it just blows a hole in it

HI,
If i can add my two penneth, Yes you can silver solder stainless steel. I make all my tailwheel yokes, elevator joiners etc out of 22 gauge stainless and it silver solders really strongly. I second Johns advice about using stainless for the silencer

Thanks Flight 1,
but Jose, the owner sent me an automated message saying to use the email address [email protected] (note the "s") which for future reference should be used.
Thank you for help

Hi all,
It seems that the wheels are on the way to me. Paypal have emailed me to say that they have been despatched, even though i have had no response from the messages i have sent. It'll be interesting to see what i'll pay for carriage and tax because that's not on the invoice. Just glad to get them really.
Thanks everyone for the help

Just to keep all you kind people in the picture. The money has been paid by Paypal, so as far as i could tell i couldn't cancel it. There is no contact phone number for Fliteskin Aeroscale on the site, but a glimmer of good news is that the owner of Fliteskin Aeroscale Jose is mentioned on another model forum, and his email address is gumpp@live. I've emailed him and asked if he could let me know if he has received my order......

Hi everyone,
Yesterday i attempted to order a pair of wheels for a 1/5 scale BF109 from Fliteskin Aeroscale. I put said item into the basket and proceeded to checkout by Paypal, but when i paid and was directed back to the site, the page didn't reload which was a bit worrying. this morning i have a receipt from Paypal saying that i've paid the £140 or so in dollars, i noticed that the email address was [email protected], not www.fliteskinaeroscale.com. What also worry's me is that i've had no verification from Fliteskin to say they have received my order yet. I was wondering if anyone else has had any dealings with them and maybe put my mind at rest. Thanks Kev

Freewing 90mm F4 Phantom

Hi Tigerman,
A group of us all fly Freewing EDF aircraft i.e Hawk, ME 262, Yak , L39 Albatros, 104, Venom Mig, A10 etc etc Two of my friends fly the Phantom and they fly lovely, you need a little bit more room for the take off run ( we fly off of grass) but once in the air the Phantom is a wonderful flier. Spares are readily available ?
