  1. My original manual states : Ailerons 10mm each way Elevator 10mm each way Rudder 12mm each way
  2. Agree with Rob Can accept budget servos, motors, esc etc However it costs no more to put in the correct control rods And it would add little to the cost to quality control the hinges Ours now has a completely remodelled front end but still flies To me the undercarriage was the weakest part- in our day a two sided affair waiting screws that pulled out on the first dodgy landing
  3. Apologies if I've missed it in the article but where does the battery sit and is there a battery hatch?
  4. Hi Dave That was exactly what I had in mind Thanks Ken
  5. Hi My son has ordered a 1/6 scale Sig J3 Piper Cub He favours an electric setup and I favour glow Has anyone been able to design a module for any similar size plane that would allow interchangeable power units? Any advice appreciated Ken
  6. Mark How did you get a 4S to fit the battery bay? - or maybe you haven't tried that yet Ken
  7. Hi When my model arrived the motor would stutter - this was fixed simply by pulling the leads between the esc and motor apart and reseating - didn't realise it was the fix at 1st but had same problem on an Easystar I'd upgraded to brushless and both sorted the same way!! To my mind the split undercarriage is the weak part - Andy you might want to do something about that before your 1st one-wheel landing if you're like me - maybe epoxy something across the join so a less than perfect landing takes the strain on all 4 puny screws not just 2 Ken
  8. Hi Mine had it's 1st flights today - fine for us as a trainer / follow-on Niggles: > When 1st arrived rudder was poorly hinged but replaced immediately by Century UK >The plasic wheel bolts/axels are way too weak >The motor sometimes just stutters and sometimes spins ok This worries me and I'd be grateful for advice about this Ken
  9. Hi Anyone any suggestions for positioning a simple towhook on one of these Not sure how far back to put it Thanks Ken
  10. Me too - I've got an Overlander / Overtec Impression EP. The disk with it is just a parts list and I would like build instructions too Ken
