    I painted the front of the mount as I hate to see bare wood showing from the front!

    If the motor had been mounted on the front of the wooden extension then it would have protruded too far.

    I used plastic hollow (white) tube cut to length to extend the motor mount away from the fuselage so as to get the shaft protruding from the front of the cowl (when fitted) - David.

    Lower wing landing wires and 3-degree dihedral braces. Place under wing and then secure wires to brace the wing. If struts are correct then top wing will be at 1.5 degrees each side.
