  1.  +1 on the Mosquito Mk VI  Fairey Barracuda would be interesting, though the retracts would be a challenge. Vultee Vengeance? Interesting wing shape.
  2. Thanks for all the welcomes Chasps (intentional ). I shall henceforth endeavour to keep my posts in the Anglo Saxon vernacular. Just make sure you have plenty of hours on more forgiving models before you go and spoil a lovely warbird. Above all, have fun.   Chris @import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css); Most certainly. Trainers before Scale. My fixed wing skills are very rusty. Haven't swung a prop since somewhere around 1970. Think MacGregor 2ch radio, DC Merlin, OS19, Taplin Twin (OK that was a boat). Started flying again this year and still getting to grips with heli flying. I can aim a good sim though.
  3. I've been lurking here for a while now. Signed up to Model Boats then discovered that the same Log In applies here. Mainly involved in helis at the moment but I've also a hankering to fly WWII Warbirds. Favourites are DH Mosquito and Hawker Hurricane. I've found a local club near here in Swansea and I hope to join in the New Year. Current fleet Helis - Logo 400, TRex 450SEv2, Blade 400, mSR, mCX Fixed Wing - AXN Clouds Fly, Night Vapor
  4. Posted by Tony Gower on 16/11/2010 12:01:47: I obviously missed it. Where is the reference to the lovely Miss Kenya model, shown on the front coverThat's what I've been searching for. Not even mentioned in the "This Month's Cover" section on page 5. Brilliant detailing on the aeroplane. Tell us more!
