MPX Easy Glider using Spoilerons - Success - but still a problem.
Bob H replied to Bob H's topic in Flat Field Gliding
Hi Steve, I have managed to fix the problem with the Elevator on switching to Spoilers myself. Do not ask me how.. It was a combination of using the Select Key on the 6EX and the Flap on/off positions on the mixer and the Flap lever, plus a slight adjustment of the Elevator Push Rod. The Elevator Servo was centred at first. I can understand now why I received no replies from anyone else. I cannot remember what I did myself now!! Thanks guys for your interest. You learn something everyday !! Cheers, Bob -
MPX Easy Glider using Spoilerons - Success - but still a problem.

Hi Steve, Thanks for the reply. Hope somebody comes up with an answer. otherwise I am thinking I may have a fault on my TX. Then again everything is fine for normal flying Cheers, Bob -
Hi Guys,Thanks again for all your help. I now have Spoilerons all set up re. the Futaba 6EX Handbook. Problem I have now is that I am trying to put some Down on the Elevator to stop Ballooning and it moves UP instead of DOWN when the Flap Lever is switched to Spoilerons. There is not enough Percentage Movement to take it down. All the other controls work perfectly, including the Spoilerons. I have tried all I can think of to reverse the Elevator - Any ideas please.??? Bob H.

Hi Pat, Many many thanks for the helpful info plus the great pictures. I can see this is about the only way one can do it. Hope the wires can stand up to the tight bending! Sorry for the delay. I sent a reply yesterday off the forum and Mailademon grabbed it !! Many thanks again, Bob

Hi Guys, Nearing the end of my contruction on my MPX Easy Glider, I now have two Aileron Servo leads to join to the connectors in the Fuz. So far so good - but where do the surplus wires go to ? There is no space for them when the wings are joined. The only solution I can see is to cut out some of the foam to stow the two small lengths ( 60 and 75 m/m) of cable. This does not seem right as the detailed intructions have been fine so far. Grateful any help. Bob H

Hi Guys, On my new Easy Glider I am having difficulty joining the wings. Obviously where the wings join it is molded something like a jig saw piece to join the two wing halves. It seems I will have to use exessive force to join the two halves and I am afraid I would break the foam. Grateful for any ideas. Cheers, Bob

Hi Tony, Re the aileron control.... ( Radio Active Aileron Set ).Cannot really work out how the wire (which must be bent as it crosses the Dihedral Point on the wing actually works. Does yours do what it is supposed to do ? Cheers Bob H

Hi Peter Beeney, Many thanks for all that info. I think I understood about half of it. Anyhow I get the point and thanks again. Regards Bob HP.S. Weight considerations would be against an on board receiver battery, apart from a powered glider !
