  1. Dear Ben B, Many thanks again for taking the trouble to explain your knowledge to a novice.I will now solder m my UBEC to the "two" wires from the ESC +ve to +ve and -ve to -ve and connect the servo type connection to the Batt point on the RX or a spare channel.WITHOUT A SWITCH. Thanks again, Bob H
  2. Hi Ben B, Many thanks for your prompt reply. As I said I am pretty new to "lekkies".I shall try my best to digest the info. Am I right in thinking if you switch on the UBEC switch without the TX being on, the prop will rotate ? Thanks again, Yours very confused, Bob H

  8. Hi Frank,  Sent you a message yesterday but cannot find it today . Anyway many thanks for your reply and what a great tip  FLY THE PLANE TO DISCHARGE THE BATTERY AND CHECK THE VOLTAGE AFTERWARDS........ Thanks again. Bob

  10. Hi David,  Before going on holiday for a month or so I decided to discharge three Lipos ( 3s 3000m/as). It took hours and hours at .5 Amps and less to reach the Storage Level..... about 6 hours for each battery! How is it that when flying the Batt dicharges in minutes ?I am new to electric, been flying i/c for over 20 years. Most grateful if you could explain this very puzzling fact.   Robert. P.S. I realize the Wattage is dissipated flying the plane with the motor etc. but why cannot my 50W charger discharge the Batt quicker ? PPS all 3 Batts where fully charged before putting them on Storage  Level Voltage.
