I am very new to electric but with 30+ years on glow.
I have this model although I have not flown it yet. The motor you mention was the one I was sold for it. I didn't end up installling the JP motor but sourced an AXI 2217/16 as I was not happy with the way the JP was going to mount - I did not want to start surgery on the fuselage. I asked the original seller of the JP if I could change the drive side of the motor but they did not think that was an option. I later read an article in RCM&E which gave me the confidence to have a go - after a lot of sweat I loosened the grub screws and tapped the drive shaft through - so the motor would have fitted without surgery to the mount. I haven't run it yet though.The battery is a 2200 11.1v.
