I dug out the original Crane Fly MK 2 this afternoon , and gave it an airing at the the field. It proved yet again to be a very practical and stable model.

Took the FCG for a fly today on its own set of AJ 450 blades as opposed to the old set that was originally used to give the model a try. Excellent results with six easy take offs and rock solid sit in the air . The roll response acts bang on the horizontal cog datum which results in no tendency to drop the nose in turns. It was well worth the small amount of work to convert this abandoned Cub into a nice flying Auto gyro. Tom.

Thanks David some good photos would be appreciated, so I better get with the covering... we don't want see any undressed Auto gyros . Shame the flying qualities cannot be demonstrated on this occasion, unless! we have a mode one 'B' gyro pilot to step in? Tom.
