Hello I am just starting to get back into flying having been away for a long while for several of the usual reasons house purchases new family etc back around the dinosaur era I had a falcon 505s from Dave Niemann in Wembly then a few years later a Shuttle both very good all be it different machines. So when I decided to start up went web crawling for his shop seems he has folded now. Anyway back to present I have come into my possession a Blade 400 together with various spares the main reason for the purchase was a cheap brushless motor for a boat. I have since decided to have another go at flying and was wondering several things. 1. What Clubs are near to me. 2. Having read several various posts on different sites been slightly put off, I know I need a new Radio system as most of my gear is 40 MHz mainly for Boats and Submarines so had included that in the plan. 3. As the stock motor and esc was going into a Boat anyway upgrading them and learning with that before maybe putting a scale Fuselage on to make it more appealing to the eye after becoming more proficient off course.
