  1. Hs225 has higher torque rating. Basic physics and the equipment specs tells me two hs82 in the place of one 3152 is ok. I can test this with a setup if i can find the energy and time

  4. Hs 82 is not a standard size servo. It is thinner than the standard size and half the torque. But twice the speed.
  5. So mine won't look odd. Left wing panel is also glued, the trailing edge bottop pieces are not glued yet. I have a question friends. I have futaba s3152 servos to install to my hog. But i don't want to cut into the root rib to install the servo. Hs82mg from hitec is what i am considering to install. I'll install two hs82 without cutting the root rib. Hs82 when compared with the s3152 is half the torque but since I'm going to install one for each aileron it may suffice. What do you think? Would it be ok to install hs82
  6. I can't make the math now do you mean that it has the original dihedral or it has the original sig dihedral?
  7. I used aliphatic glue on all laminations and where plywood is at least one of the contacts. I used medium CA for mounting the ribs to the spars. the bottom spar wasn't very straight but I forced it in position with the pins. I hope it won't have a negative affect and it likes its new position. Edited By Sigh on 04/10/2013 16:44:46
  8. I decided to adjust the dihedral as 6 degrees total instead of 12 degrees. I hope it will still look like an astro hog.
  9. I have a small storage room downstairs and I use it like a workshop. since it is too small it is always untidy.
  10. Hi Dudley; how is flying an astro hog? I know you are afraid... aha I know it would be better if you could control it BTW Dudley do you know ALF? I have progress guys! Right wing panel is on the building board and its wingtip bow is drying. I had a little bit of a mess but sorted out(in a way), the spar was a bit short and stupid me aligned it to the wingtip side but the root would need it more so I had to glue a balsa piece at the root side. i'll put pictures but I have to get the girls from the nursery first.

  23. yesterday I was so tired I went to bed just after the girls, so no progress. I am checking the internet site of my hobby shop to order some stuff I wanted to order a pilot for my hog as well. Since i don't have the plans with me at the moment I thought maybe you guys can help me. Do you know by heart the size of the pilot that would fit to the hog. thanks Edited By Sigh on 03/10/2013 12:28:29
