  1. I intend to keep flying with my winter hacks, It's the models less suited to long grass and boggy ground that spend the winter in the garage that I'm concerned about. Nev.
  2. Please note that this is a 2 part series so set those recorders for next week as well. Nev.
  3. A program not to be missed by the look of it. LINK . Enjoy, Nev.
  4. I am concerned about storing my models in the garage where it can obviously be cold and damp in the winter. I store wings in the house but don't have sufficient room for the fuselages. Where and how do you store your pride and joy? Nev.
  5. I have just begun putting my Grob Tutor together. I have started by copying Mark (sorry Mark) by painting the pilots and cockpit area to make it a little more realistic. I will post pictures ASAP. Nev. P.S. I will be electrifying mine.
  6. I don't think SWMBO will agree to having planes all around the house. I keep the wings in a spare bedroom but don't have the room for the fuselages, they are kept in the garage. I find it hard to believe that models with petrol engines and models that are of the larger variety are stored in the house. Do the owners of such have heated garages or do they just take a chance that all will be fine in the spring? Nev. Edited By Racing Snake on 02/11/2013 19:38:25
  7. Well, apart from my winter hacks, I intend to moth ball a number of my electric powered models for the winter. They will be stored in the garage which is water tight but cold and damp like most, so, should I take all the electrics out (motor, esc, rx etc) or is it ok to leave them in the models. Do you leave your electric in, have you had any issues, what is best practice? I would be grateful for any advice. Cheers, Nev.
  8. I've just had a look at next years shift pattern and I'm off so I also plan to be there. This will be my 3rd visit and I will definately fly this time, I will, I'm sure I will, yes I will. See you there. Nev.
