  1. Tim …. what's with the 8" three blade prop? I'm running a 10 X 5 ...fit's in OK Chris...
  2. Well unfortunately we can't expect all the wiring from all our electrics to fit every application that may be required....so the old soldering iron has to come out sometimes. I have had to cut wires shorter sometimes ...just to get it all in to a small space. Happy Landings Chris...
  3. Thanks Rich....I kind of thought that you may come to the rescue...you know what I' m like Chris..
  4. Unable to post video here...so posted it on RCG Revolver thread Edited By Chris Dowell on 17/05/2019 05:38:30
  5. I did have a new video showing this operation  BUT unfortunately ..I seem to be unable do so.  Chris... Edited By Chris Dowell on 17/05/2019 03:18:41
  6. As some of you are getting close to the end of your build.......please make sure you balance the head assembly as one unit to help stop any induced 'wobble" Happy Landings Chris...
  7. Just a bit of a flesh wound. Happy Landings Chris...
  8. Now that is one nice looking piece of kit.....well done Malcolm.
  9. G' Day Rich . My compliments on your newest project give my best to Deb's and the model looks pretty good also. Looks a very nice clean flying machine ....must try the two blade version. Happy Landings Chris...
  10. Great looking model just a tad windy. Chris...
  11. Yes Rich...that is a great colour scheme...and I'm sure it was very simple to apply. Happy Landings Chris...
  12. Very discrete changes to your original design. I like the way the front of the fuz has been reshaped to incorporate the canopy (making more room to install lipo etc ) and the way you have moved the servos and push rods forward inside the cowl. Good thinking ,looking forward to this design. It's only taken three years Chris...
  13. I'd like to see the dog fight double up dated....I have the original mag & plan and am still flying my third spitfire built from that plan. Happy Landings Chris...
  14. Rich Thanks for the offer...but not a problem.. Canopy not damaged It's a funny thing about repairing.....once I have gotten over the fact that I have damaged a model.....I quite enjoy bringing the model back to a flying condition........so as far as I'm concerned...you should think your self lucky that you have some thing to play with. Chris...
  15. All OK and flying again. That picture shows the fuz after it was repaired just prior to covering. I smashed the fuz into many pieces, between the motor mount and the servos. Well Rich ,I simply just lost it...plain stupid on my part....I zigged, when I should have zagged....or was it zagged when I should have zigged. It's all getting a bit confusing these days. Happy Landings Chris...
  16. I'       I'm glad I went with the removable mast. Edited By Chris Dowell on 19/12/2015 21:32:46
  17. There is one other small mod that I made to this build. I thought that a little more rudder may be handy...so I went with linking up the two outer fins as Rich did with the big blue bird. Happy Landings Chris...
